HOW DOES UPI APP WORK?
- Download Equitas UPI app from Google Play Store
- Create Virtual Payment Address (VPA)
- Link your bank account
- Enter the beneficiary’s VPA
- Pay Instantly
HOW UPI FEATURE IN WHATSAPP WORKS:
1. Open WhatsApp Settings
2. Select Payments
3. First time users, verify
your mobile number
4. Auto SMS verification will be triggered
5. Select Equitas Bank to be linked
6. Select your Equitas Account
7. Enter last 6 digits of debit card
# and expiry date
8. Enter OTP from SMS and set 6 digits UPI PIN
9. Select the contact to send money
and click on ‘+’
10. Click Payments
11. Verify Details and enter amount
12. Payment Confirmation on WhatsApp
