IDENTITY

POSITION Branch Operations Manager – Liabilities LEVEL/GRADE EM2 Plus (Assistant Manager) / EM3 (Deputy Manager)
REPORTS TO Branch Manager - Liabilities REPORTEES Customer Support Officers / Tellers
PURPOSE
  • To ensure high quality delivery of all banking services and products to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set and achieve high performance targets for Current Accounts & Saving Accounts (CASA) both in terms of nos. and also in terms of value through Sales Manager & team of Sales Officers and Business Correspondent Manager & network of Customer Service Points.
  • Set and achieve high performance targets for sales of third party products like Insurance, Mutual Funds, etc. through Sales Manager and team of Sales Officers and Business Correspondent Manager & network of Customer Service Points.
  • Set and achieve high performance targets for high value customers like high net worth individuals, government departments, societies, trusts, salary accounts, etc. through Relationship Manager.
  • Provide high quality service to existing & new customers who walk-in to the Branch through Branch Operations Manager and team of Customer Service Officers.
  • Actively generate & pass-on leads for cross-sell products like Gold Loan, Two-Wheeler loan, Car Loan, Home Loan, etc. sourced through the entire Branch team and network of Customer Service Points.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, review, train & develop and retain Branch Staff.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
QUALIFICATIONS Any graduate AGE GROUP 28-35 years
TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 7 - 10 years YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 5+ years
INDUSTRIES Banking – private sector banks, cooperative banks, PSU banks, rural banks. FUNCTIONS Branch Sales, Branch operations, teller operations, relationship management, cross-sell.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE The applicant should have been in a customer-facing role in a bank branch, with experience in branch operations and branch sales.

Knowledge of banking practices, guidelines and regulatory requirements are essential for this role.
LINGUISTIC PROFICIENCY Fluency in English and regional language of the state applying for.

Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
REMUNERATION As per industry norms LOCATION At any of the branches in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

  • 1. Manage a team of branch operations staff (Teller/Customer Support Officer) and ensure smooth running of the branch.
  • 2. Ensure compliance to banking guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements.
  • 3. Authorize all transactions posted by the Teller and other operations staff and ensure timely and error-free transactions.
  • 4. Ensure that all relevant notices and displays are updated in the branch as per RBI requirements.
  • 5. Ensure safe custody of all stationery, account kits, cheque books, forms etc and timely updation of all relevant registers.
  • 6. Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, audit and other regulations in all branch banking operations.
  • 7. Facilitate cross-sell of savings and investment products to clients to meet branch objectives.
  • 8. Delivery of high standards of customer service and relationship management to clients to enable retain them.

PURPOSE
  • Acquire new to bank customers, build liability portfolio for the branch and cross sell investment products, focusing on HNIs, Institutions, Trust, ( TASC).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acquire new to bank customers
  • Sell CA and SA along with other liability products
  • Increase the relationship value ( RV) of the customers
  • Handle the service requirement of customers
  • Handle the investment portfolio of the customer
  • Achieve the assigned top line and revenue targets
